Colours
The word |colour| in Portuguese is feminine a |a côr|. Colours are adjectives. Most adjectives change the final |o| to |a| in the feminine and add a |s| to form the plural. If the adjective ends in |a|, there is no masculine form. The word for green is |verde| and doesn’t change.

Cardinal numbers
0 – 15
Digits and numbers from zero to fifteen are specific words.
16 – 19
Sixteen to nineteen are regular numbers, named after the ten and the digit, and written phonetically.
10 – 90
The tens have specific names based on the digits roots except for ten and twenty.
100 – 900
The same applies for the hundreds.

Tens and units are linked with |e| (and), as well as hundreds and tens.
